Yoga

<3 Nature Yoga!

Yoga is a lifestyle, a way of being. It’s not just cranking out some poses. It’s about living a conscious life. Yoga can be practiced in day to day tasks and yoga helps us deal with the woes of life. Yoga makes you flexible, balanced and strong- physically, emotionally and  and mentally. The yoga shows you who you are, what you are struggling with right now, and what you need to work on. Let backbends open your heart, and twists push out all negativity stored in your body. Find your innermost self in child pose, surrender to the Earth in corpse pose.

Yoga doesn’t take time. It gives time

Yoga is meditation. It quiets the mind, invigorates the soul. The focus and repetition make for moving meditation. Stillness of the mind and flexibility of the spine add years to your life, and life to your years. You do not need a special outfit or equipment other than a mat for yoga. You do not need to be slender or bendy. Your postures do not need to be perfect.

It is called yoga practice, not yoga perfect

The physical form of yoga you can practice daily or most days, 10 minutes here, 30 there, a 90 minute class when you feel like it. It’s great to bring you back to yourself, your body, and outside of your head, your troubles. Yoga is not (just) for spaced out hippies or trendy, perfectly-groomed, hemp smoothie drinking gal pals. Yoga is for everyone, of every age, of all walks of life. You can choose your style, and your purpose. Where and when, and how long. And after a while you might find yoga becoming a big part of your life, living it, breathing it. Choosing to adopt a Yogi diet and applying yoga principles to all aspects of your life. If not, simply enjoy and appreciate all the benefits of bending over backwards for your health.

Yoga is… stretching towards goodness
