It is almost time for me to say goodbye to beautiful Bali and the amazing people I have come to meet here. It has been an amazing journey, but now it is time to go back home and start a new chapter of my life there. I have so many exciting things awaiting! I will do a few(!) recaps from Singapore airport and once I get back. Tons more photos, a Bali travel guide, an update on my juice feast and breaking the fast(!) and of course a ton of photos. In the meantime, here are two awesome smoothie recipes me and my raw foodie friend Emma enjoyed at Soma.
Calcium Boost
Serves 2
* 1 cup almond milk
* 1 cup fresh orange juice
* 4 tablespoons tahini
* 4 fresh dates, pitted
* cinnamon to taste
* optional for thickening: Irish moss
Holy Basil
Serves two
* 2 cups cashewmilk
* meat of one young coconut (0r 2 tablespoons coconut butter)
* 2 handfuls strawberries
* 1 cup Tulsi (Holy Basil) or sub regular basil
* Optional boosts: maca & honey, irish moss
