If you come to Melbourne there is an AWESOME raw food restaurant on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, which is pretty much the city. If you want to go and want some company let me know!
Awesome! What’s it called? I will def be in Melbourne just don’t know exactly when yet. But I would love to meet up, maybe send me an email so I can contact you via email? Yay!
Hi Sabine,
Enjoy my homeland! It will be nice to see your impressions of Sydney. Its a great foodie city so I’m sure you’ll enjoy it and the beaches are spectacular (particularly northern beaches). And yes you’ll easily be able to at least view if not feed the kangaroo’s. Excited to hear your impressions when you feel like blogging.
PS. Definitely do the Bondi beach – Coogee walk along the coastline, its spectacular and stop for great coffee spots along the way..
Sweet! It’s called Yong Green Food. I’ve sent you an email, with a couple more places too, just in case you want to check them out. Happy flying Maybe see you soon!
Hi Sabine, my name is Lolita.
I recently found your site and I love it! We have very similar opinions on health and, it seems, with things that we have gone through in our lives. Sorry if this sounds creepy haha but I have been very inspired by reading you posts and I thought I should introduce myself =)
Anyway I’m a 22 year old lady living in Sydney so I just wanted to extend the invitation to you if you want some company or someone to show you around in Sydney one day while you’re here. I know lots of nice healthy organic cafes etc that I’m sure you’d love.
you can find me on facebook if you want… facebook.com/lolita.walters … my name will come up as “Lolly” because that is what my friends call me.
Welcome to Australia! First thing you will learn is that we don’t call our country “down under” any more than you’d call your country “up over” lol, and the only kangaroos you are likely to find in a city of 3.6 million people is in a zoo. But that’s nice too! I was lucky enough to grow up in the country and we often had 30 – 40 kangaroos in our paddock. Wild animals. The makes will kick you to death if they feel threatened.
Have fun!
Veel plezier!
How exciting! there are heaps of places you can go to feed kangaroos as well!

Hi Rebecca, I can’t believe I haven’t tried that place yet!
Hey Amy! If you’re interested the Vegie Bar, on the opposite side of the road, does a couple of raw dishes too
Chow down time for sure!
I’ve been to the vege bar lots in the past, but not since I’ve been Raw. Thanks for the heads up!
Have a great trip, enjoy!
