That´s amazing how much you have achieved in not that long time and how all the effort brings rewards. Healthy, full and optimistic life is something that pays off in the long time.
I really really admire you girlie! I’ve been feeling a little blah lately and I just know it’s because of not eating enough veggies.. So I got myself a juicer :p because of youuuuuuuuuu ;)
I got a request though: i have been wondering if you could maybe post a mealplanner for one week consisting of juices, raw foods, oatmeal and some cooked dinners..?
Something that could be anexample for people who want to start eating more raw,
whilst still keeping some cooked meals..
hey girl congrats on getting yourself a juicer, it’ll change you life .
could you be a little more specific on the meal plan? like, 7 days worth of wat I eat? or, what someone COULD eat, high-raw and vegan? or specifically for you? anyways, i like the sound of it, just need some mroe details of what you’d want!
Well, something to intoduce rookies like me nto the word of raw food and juices..
For me personnally, I’d like to start my day with some fresh juice, have some kind of raw meal for lunch ( easy to prepare and take to work ) and then come home and have soup or a cooked meal.. ofcourse not forgetting some healthy snacks here and there..
I’d love to see how you would make a mealplan for someone like me, for example for a period of 7days.. Just to get me started:))
this sounds like an awesome plan, my mom actually requested some raw tips/meal ideas as well so I’ll have a go at it! this weekend im abroad and school is BOMBED already so i cant promise it one of these days, but ill work on it in the meantime (and in the meantime, chewck the ‘raw’ page, youve probably seen it again but still theres some meal tips! and also: think easy! just buy tons of salad-y stuff (also things you wouldnt consider normally straight away for a salad (like, raw beet or sea veggies) and just get creative, this way you can have adifferent salad every day! and make sure to have quinoa, tempeh, avocados etc on hand to ‘bulk’ them up!) x
You are so inspiring to me! I have begun to have cravings for veggies and fruits, and all my friends tease me about it, but I love it! I’ve also begun to do yoga again because I’ve been so inspired from your passionate posts. Running hurts my knees, but I’m trying to find some other sort of cardio that I can love. Thank you so much for your posts.
P.S. Any tips for living raw in college for a poor student? ( aka me. ;] )
P.S. some tips; don’t buy expensive super foods or expensive nuts and seeds or powders. Just buy loads of fruits and vegetables and buy them where cheap (not the supermarket! avoid them!) this can be farmer markets or wholesale’s. See: http://youtu.be/S7LWkJ-gdqc http://youtu.be/6fFAYRITky0
Fruits and vegetables will be 98% of what you need food wise.

Thank you so much for your advice! There is a farmer’s market right behind where I live, every week, and I’ve been so busy I haven’t gone. I’m making time next week!
ahhh they make fun of you for craving fruits & veggies? the world is a weird place… sigh. ps if youre lookin for cardio, theres some forms of yoga, like ashtanga and bikram, that really get your heart rate up and are thus a form of cardio .
i found jelle’s tips really good and he blogs about eating raw without braking the bank as well. my top tips are: choose fresh FOOD (no products) over fussing over if ots organic yes/no, buy seasonal foods, shop at markets and tokos, plan ahead a little, and dont ever waste food .
I did 75 minutes of power yoga this morning and WHEW! Definitely got the heart rate up there, so I see what you mean.
Yes, when they tease me about all my fresh veggies and fruits and things, I just smile and know they’re clogging up their bodies while my body is so happy!
You were right about me loving this post. Not only because I am so darn happy you are so frickin’ happy with yourself and life right now, but also because I recognize all of it so well. Things seem to have speeded up, little seeds have been planted and they’ve grown and blossomed way faster than we would ever have imagined. (Not to say they’ll soon let their heads down and life turns in to an ugly, dead flower or something ). We’ve been through a fair amount of shit, I’m sure, but also chose to carry a lot of shit with us after the crap. It’s so lovely to clean out your closet/past, notice you’ve been making stuff way harder than you deserve or can take, and find ways to get through to what really matters. Passion is great, to live by it – a gift. Congratulations on embracing the will to be good to you *hippie and flower power ftw*
haha i loved ‘(Not to say they’ll soon let their heads down and life turns in to an ugly, dead flower or something )’ to stay in the ‘flower power’ theme. but this is something i DO remind myself of! if you feel really good ‘all of the sudden’ (which is not so all of the sudden, its because, indeed, we planted those darn seeds!) is not to say this is how we’ll feel for the rest of our lifes (this too shall pass?). but when the day comes we start to feel a little down and out again, we know what to do: water those flowers, trim off some dead stems
Natasha Posted on Thank you for sharing your story. I’m sorry you are in pain, it’s very very dflficuit. Try to stay positive and move forward. Peace and blessings, Natasha
So I just happened to stumble upon your blog last week for the 1st time and it’s like you are living my life except you are where I want to be and yet I’m much older. =I
I started w/ the Glowing Green smoothie a la Kimberly. Then watched “fat, sick, and nearly dead” and went out and bought a juicer. (a Jack la Lane one b/c I was too cheap to buy a masticating one and I figured I’d start somewhere). But in the 2 weeks of drinking the GGS and eating much more veggies and little to no meat, I feel happier and stronger. And I feel God sent me a little msg via you. So thank you. And I’m sending you a little of your positive energy back! Recycle baby.
wow, thank you priscilla, that’s a huge compliment. i am happy you found something on my blog and in my words that resonated with you and inspired you to take action.
and thank you for the reciprocation of the good vibes . take care!

The best way to convince people is to go first, Sabine you seem to take this by heart. I hope I can follow your example.

Totally awesome!! I am working on getting myself to that buzzing feeling as well.
I have a got a juicer and I adore it, I can’t stop telling people that a green juice is like raw, vegan Red Bull!!
Well done on progressing and blossoming
