yeah it’s slowly tarting to get out there that osteoporosis is not a disease of calcium deficiency, it’s more about a negative calcium balance and that balance is more disturbed in our modern society by eating acidic foods, like sulfur containing proteins found in meat, and by the phospohoric acids in soft drinks and coffee. it has been known for a long time now but because the notion of lack of calcium being the culprit has been believed for so long… it tends to stick!
